Spending G's on Sneakers!!??

Not sure if this is true or not but I recently saw this video that showed King Chip (rapper) spent $3000 for a pair of yeezy 2's.  I would never pay that much for a pair of sneakers but it's possible that the sneaks are a rare collectible.  The kicks look cool and the sayin these days is get it how you live it!
